Our Kallos mission is to deliver science -based aesthetic procedures and wellness treatments that promotes confidence , wellness and health while promoting ethical and sustainable best practice in the world of aesthetics.
Our Kallos Beginnings
The inspiration and concept for Kallos came from Camela Comilang, a dedicated family nurse practitioner from the Philippines who moved to the United States in 2005. Her eye-opening visits to various countries, including the Louvre in Paris, exposed her to the diverse artwork of ancient civilizations, leading her to recognize that beauty transcends the superficial. She realized that beauty encompasses intangible qualities, representing "a combination of physical beauty and virtues of the soul," as defined by the Greeks, "kάλλος.". In March of 2023, she began to train and research the foundations of Kallos Medical Spa.
At Kallos, we firmly believe that aesthetics and beauty are intertwined with our physical and mental well-being. We understand that feeling beautiful contributes to an overall sense of well-being, which is crucial for a state of wellness. As committed medical practitioners in the South Texas community, providing care to the acutely ill in hospital medicine and offering free medical care at the local homeless shelter, we are dedicated to expanding our holistic approach to health and wellness, to include aesthetic and non-invasive surgical treatments. As Kallos Medical Spa grows, we are committed to upholding the principle that beauty is inherently connected to our overall health.
